Design your Perfect Prom Dress,

2010 Competition

Walk in Wardrobe will be inviting Year 11 pupils in schools in Sussex to enter our 2010 Competition to design your Perfect Prom Dress. Pupils, who will have their prom in 2010, can send in their designs of their perfect prom dress from January 2010.

The winner will have their dress made in time for their 2010 prom.

All entrants will receive a special “Discount Hire Voucher”

A template front and back picture of a model can be supplied for pupils to download and used when designing their prom dress. 

We hope this will encourage you to show  creative flare and start designing!

Rules for the competition are:

1. All entrants must send their designs to Walk in Wardrobe by 5pm Friday 12^th March, with their full name, address, email or telephone number, name of their school and prom date between April and July 2009.

2. Only pictures hand drawn by the applicant will be accepted. All pictures must show a front and back view. Descriptions must be clear and as accurate as possible. Include fabric content and trimmings (choose from our list below), colours, fastenings and any other trimmings and details.

3.  Choose from the following synthetic fabrics and trimmings of: Satin/Sateen/Taffeta/Jersey/chiffon/Tulle netting.  All trimmings will need to be on a band and can include, sequins, beads, diamante, lace, ribbon, sashes and belts.
